Vintage Large Navajo Kachina "Hores" signed Alta A, Turquoise, Feathers, Leather. The base is about 9-1/2" Round (not quite round) the Kachina is about 7-1/2" wide. I do not know if the turquoise necklace is original to this Kachina but it is included. The larger feathers on its head are showing their age and one is broken. The handpainted head and clothes really look great.

From the nonsmoking estate of a marine biologist educator. There is blue from a sticky substance on the bottom, that substance was used by the owner to keep the Kachina stable on the display cabinet.
