Vintage Hopi Navajo Art Corn Dancer Leader Kachina 12 Signed Painted Leather

This is a vintage Hopi - Navajo Corn Dancer Leader Kachina doll. It is signed on the bottom M Charles or Charla. It is beautifully hand painted and is decorated with leather, feathers and fur. Item was my uncle's.

He received it from my aunt who was a Catholic Nun that lived and worked near the Flagstaff area in the 1970's with the Navajo. She sent many items to her siblings while living there. She loved the area and the people! I believe some of the feathers are missing from the head and some are loose. There is a crack on the base from the wood drying.

Overall in good vintage condition. We do our best to pack all our items well, but due to their fragile nature and even with the best packing, small pieces can break. If you are purchasing please keep this in mind.
